  • Week 1 - What We Believe – A Review of the First Baptist Church Statement of Faith and THE Story of the Bible
  • Week 2 - The Importance of Baptism, The Lord’s Supper, and Church Membership
  • Week 3 - Preparing and Sharing a Salvation Testimony
  • Week 4 - First Baptist Church Ministries and Leadership Structures

We believe that baptism and local church membership are important parts in every believer’s spiritual growth. Baptism by immersion is a step of obedience after coming to understand and accept God’s gift of salvation, declaring that step of faith to the world and symbolizing the death burial and resurrection of Christ. Membership requires us to be accountable to spiritual authority and to fellow believers. It is also a means to work together with other Christians to evangelize the world and expose false teaching. Membership in the local church also gives us the opportunity to express genuine concern and care for other brothers and sisters in Christ and to glorify God together.

We have two types of membership.

  • Adult Membership – for adults who are of voting age

  • Student Membership – for those who are not yet of voting age (18 years)
