Sunday School

 

 

 

We have Sunday School classes at First Baptist Church for everyone infants to senior adults at 9:30-10:30 a.m. every Sunday.  We believe that Sunday School and Small Groups are an important part of your spiritual growth.  We have traditional classes for children, Nursery age through High School and a variety of classes for Adults who choose not to attend small groups.  All of our children's classes are in the church building with the exception of our High School class which meets in the Swegles building.

Classes for Children

  • Nursery:  Infant - 2 years
  • Toddlers:  2-4 years old
  • Kindergarten: 4 years old - Kindergarten
  • First & Second Grade
  • Third & Fourth Grade
  • Fifth & Sixth Grade
  • Jr. High:  7th-8th Grade
  • Sr. High:  9th -12th Grade

Classes for Adults

  • 2 Lecture style classes
  • Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF)-ABF is a group of adults committed to knowing and applying the Word of God together.  With caring fellowship they strive to bring about pastoral care, discipleship and outreach.
  • Stepping Stones-For all women who are alone in the church.  Widows, divorcees or women whose husbands do not attend our church.  They study lessons that will help them grow spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.  Their key verse is Psalms 119:133 - "Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me."
