Brandon Crawford

Lead Pastor

Pastor Brandon has served in pastoral ministry since 2010 and became the Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church in 2025. He holds a Master of Divinity from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids. His books and articles engage with Jonathan Edwards studies, Baptist confessionalism, and Christian political thought. He and his wife Melanie were married in 2006 and they have two children, Daniel and Sarah.

Chad Konieczny

Pastor of Discipleship

Pastor Chad Konieczny began serving the Lord at First Baptist Church in March of 2002. Prior to entering the ministry, Pastor Chad worked as a juvenile probation officer, then he served as the Youth Pastor at FBC for 17 years. In October of 2019 he became the Pastor of Discipleship. He has a B.S. in Social Science from Michigan State University and a M.Min. from Baptist Bible Seminary (Clarks Summit, PA). He and his wife Julie have four children, Nathanael, Bethany, Leah and Titus.

Mike Briggs

Pastor of Music and Technology

Pastor Mike has been a Music Pastor full time since 1994 with churches in New York and Michigan before he joined the staff at First Baptist in 2017. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Sacred Music from Clarks Summit University. He and his wife Amy have four daughters, Melanie, Marissa, Amanda, and McKenna. They are also very proud grandparents.

Dan Dubois

Pastor of Youth

Pastor Dan Dubois joined First Baptist Church in November of 2020 as the Pastor of Youth. Prior to moving to Saint Johns, he served as a ministry leader in Grand Rapids, MI and Spokane, WA. He has a BS in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and is working on a master’s degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to Sarah since 2017, and they have four children, Jack, Charles, Eleanor, and Anne.
